McCormick-Deering Farmall F-12 (1932–1938)

Introduced in 1932 by International Harvester, the Farmall F-12 helped bring affordable tractor power to America's small and medium-sized farms. Designed specifically for row-crop farming, it gave farmers excellent visibility while cultivating corn and other crops, allowing them to work faster and more efficiently than ever before.

With approximately 14 horsepower, the F-12 was powerful enough to plow, cultivate, mow, and operate belt-driven machinery, making it one of the most versatile tractors of its time. Its dependable performance and practical design helped accelerate the transition from horse-drawn farming to mechanized agriculture. More than 123,000 F-12 tractors were produced, making it one of International Harvester's most successful early tractors.

Today, the Farmall F-12 stands as a symbol of innovation that transformed farming and paved the way for the modern tractors that followed.
